Professor Stanisław Nagy

OProfessor Nagy is Professor of Thermodynamics and Natural Gas Engineering as part of the Drilling, Oil and Gas Faculty at the AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland. He graduated in Mining from AGH UST in Krakow and received his PhD in 1988. Professor Nagy is the chair of the Gas Engineering Department and Deputy Dean of the Drilling, Oil and Gas Faculty at AGH University of Science and Technology. Professor Nagy is author or co-author of more than 200 publications, including five books. In addition, he has led numerous research grants, research projects, industry projects and research activities. Professor Nagy’s research interests and main scientific activities include: gas engineering, gas and oil thermodynamics, oil and gas engineering, geothermal resources, as well as environmental protection, numerical modelling of reservoirs, transmission and distribution of natural gas; carbon dioxide sequestration, politics and energy models.
