Dr. François Kalaydjian

francois_kalaydjian_picDr. François Kalaydjian joins the Expert Advisory Panel of Shale Gas Europe as a representative of the French Alliance for the Coordination of Research in Energy (ANCRE) where he coordinates the Working Group on Fossil Fuels (including CCS), Geothermal. He is also Deputy Managing Director, Resources Technical Business Unit, in charge of strategy and research programs on Gas Treatment and CCS at IFP Energies Nouvelles.  

From 2005-2007 he was Vice-President of the French Association of Petroleum Engineers. At European level, he has been active in shaping the Shale Gas programme in the framework of the European Energy Research Alliance (EERA). The main objective of the programme is to align and disseminate research at EERA institutes related to Shale Gas exploration and production that cover the whole Shale Gas value chain for both industry and government.

Dr. Kalaydjian holds an engineering Degree from the School of Mines, St Etienne, France, a PhD in Physics from Bordeaux University (France) – IFPEN and a Master Degree in Chemical-Physics from the University of Paris.
